Grantsburg, Wisconsin is located in the county of Burnett, and was incorporated as a village in 1886. Grantsburg is a warm and friendly community in the western part of the state. We are only minutes from Crex Meadows Wildlife Area, and St. Croix National Scenic Riverway.
Crex Meadows Wildlife Area
Crex Meadows is the largest wildlife area in Wisconsin. It contains 30,000 acres of prairie, wetlands, and forests. This area is home to 270 kinds of birds, numerous other wildlife, and many colorful prairie flowers.
St. Croix National Scenic Riverway
St. Croix Riverway includes the upper 200+ miles of river that extends from its source near Gordon, Wisconsin. It is a unique place that provides many wildlife viewing opportunities.
